We would like to acknowledge the grant of $2,500 we received from the John T. Sloper Community Fund of the Community Foundation of Hudson Valley for the “Project Enhance Roadway Safety” project. The grant will be used to purchase equipment such as First Aid Kits, Traffic Safety Jackets, Rescue Ropes, 2-Way Radios, Flashlights and Rescue Helmets.
The John T. Sloper Community Fund was established at the Community Foundation and endowed with the proceeds from the sale of Sloper-Willen Community Ambulance Service. Founded in 1958 by John T. Sloper. This fund was established to honor the legacy of John T. Sloper and the Sloper-Willen Community Ambulance Service, to promote and encourage people and organizations to provide emergency medical service.
